Forefather Finding Facility This site has in addition to Icelandic Census records, birth-, death-
and marriage records, a database containing the names and relationships of
more than 500,000 of the estimated 800,000 people who have ever lived in
Iceland. The database can produce ancestor
reports in Icelandic that sometimes trace back to Scandanavian
nobility before Iceland was settled in about 850 AD. It can also report
descendants.
